It is led by 4 moderators (@HOYJACE, @JayCeeKagami, @xynart, @ehrichu_)The purpose of this art project is to be part of the progress and results of the thesis study conducted by @HOYJACE. It is an undergraduate study under the course of Arts Management where they would like to determine internet memes as a format of art and its classifications, Genshin Impact as a part of the subculture in gaming and anime, and the effectiveness of digital zines as an art and/or medium.We hope as we explained and opened about the thesis behind the art project, understanding the fast pace of the project will be clear. What is a zine?
By definition, a form of alternative literature sharing different artworks, writings, etc. you can basically put any idea on a zine :)What is this project?
It is a small Genshin Impact Meme Zine connected to the graduate study of HOYJACE (project head). It goes at a fast pace as well. It is to give time to appreciate internet memes as art and its classifications through Genshin Impact. The theme of this zine is limited to the 2.8 Genshin Impact update, in order to avoid spoilers ;)Is the project for profit or for charity?It is now a non-profit project.How many people are you accepting through applications?
Minimum number of 3 page artists and maximum of 10 page artists.
Minimum number of 2 merch artists and maximum of 5 merch artists.
Minimum number of 2 graphic designers and maximum of 4 graphic designers.
It will still depend on your suggestions during the interest check and at the same time on our (mods) management.Is there an age requirement?
Preferably legal age or 18+. Not required.Are there application guidelines?
Yes! There will be application guidelines. A reminder will be presented along on the application form itself.Can I apply for more than one role?
You may apply for 2 roles. Since this is a small zine project, it is appreciated in this project.Is there an NSFW part of the zine?
For safety reasons, NSFW part of the zine will not be allowed since it’s a graduate study and the project head might repeat their thesis if ever there is one so yeah ;)

Application Guidelines

For the following positions, here are the minimum and maximum number of people we'll be accepting:Minimum number of 3 page artists and maximum of 10 page artists.
Minimum number of 2 merch artists and maximum of 5 merch artists.
Minimum number of 2 graphic designers and maximum of 3 graphic designers.
You may join up to 2 roles for the zine.Below are the guidelines for each role in this zine:

The requirements needed to be a page artist for the zine are the following:

  • Link of the portfolio (Google Drive - set to 'available for everyone').

  • The portfolio contains 3 to 5 pieces of artwork (preferably Genshin Impact related illustrations).

  • In terms of artworks, at least 1 fully rendered piece is required.

  • (Optional) Link to your social media that presents your artworks best

The requirements needed to be a merch artist for the zine are the following:

  • Link of the portfolio (Google Drive - set to 'available for everyone').

  • The portfolio contains 3 to 5 pieces of artwork (preferably Genshin Impact related illustrations).

  • In terms of artworks, at least 1 fully rendered piece is required.

  • Images of digital merch (ex. icons, lockscreens, wallpapers, emotes, etc.)

  • (Optional) Link to your social media that presents your artworks best.

The requirements needed to be a graphic designer for the zine are the following:

  • Link of the portfolio (Google Drive - set to 'available for everyone').

  • The portfolio contains 3 of your best works including typography and layouts.
